Notes to help when booking rooms

Booking Enquiry - If you would like to book the Village Hall, first check availability by scrolling down to the Calendar below . If you can find a suitable date and time please familiarise yourself with our Charges and Terms & Conditions of Hire. You can then use the Enquiry Form below to submit your request.
Booking Confirmation - When we have responded with an emailed confirmation of availability, please agree the details & terms and conditions by completing the Booking Confirmation Form below

Charges for Hiring Bursledon Village Hall from 1st January 2025

1. Hourly Hiring

	Monday morning to Friday afternoon	Evenings & Weekends
Main Hall & Servery	£22 per hour	£26 per hour
Anna Harvey Room	£17 per hour	£17 per hour
John Sneezum Gallery	£10 per hour	£10 per hour

2. Hire of Multiple Rooms & Kitchen


Main Hall & Anna Harvey Rooms	£40 per hour
Main Hall Anna Harvey & John Sneezum Gallery Rooms	£45 per hour
Use of Main Kitchen	£45 per day

3. Weekend/Multiple Hour Bookings

May qualify for a discount dependant on availability

4. Regular Bookings

May qualify for a discount dependant on frequency

5. Local Community Groups and Charities

Discounts available by negotiation

Payment Terms

Full payment of your hire fee and deposit is due no later than two weeks before your event. We do not issue reminders, so please ensure that you make your final payment in good time; if payment is not received you may forfeit the period booked and we may accept bookings from other hirers.

Please note that Bank Transfer is our preferred method of payment – cheques will only be accepted by prior agreement at the time of booking.

Please quote your date of hire as a reference, and also provide us with your bank details for the return of the deposit.

Cheques only accepted by prior agreement at the time of booking with the Bookings Manager.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept cash.
