Hiring the Hall

All you need to enquire about availability & booking a room can be found on this page.

If you would like to book the Village Hall, first check availability using the up-to-date Calendar below. If you can find a suitable date and time please familiarise yourself with our charges and terms and conditions of hire below. You can then use the enquiry form to submit your request.

When we have responded with an emailed Hire Agreement you will be able to complete the online Booking Confirmation Form below.
Your booking will remain provisional until we have received your payment.

Charges for Hiring Bursledon Village Hall ( from 1st October 2022)

1. Hourly Hiring

	Monday morning to Friday afternoon	Evenings & Weekends
Main Hall	£20 per hour	£24 per hour
Anna Harvey Room	£15 per hour	£16 per hour
John Sneezum Gallery	£8 per hour	£9 per hour

2. Hire of the Whole Building

	Price for Building Only	Price for Building and use of the Kitchen
Day	£220	£250
Evening	£220	£250
All day and evening	£440	£475

3. Weekend/Wedding Package

From 6 pm Friday to 12 noon Sunday – including use of the kitchen £750

4. Regular Bookings

Regular bookings may qualify for a discount by negotiation with the Treasurer

5. Local Community Groups and Charities

Discounts available by negotiation with the Treasurer

Payment Terms

Full payment of your hire fee and deposit is due no later than two weeks before your event. We do not issue reminders, so please ensure that you make your final payment in good time; if payment is not received you may forfeit the period booked and we may accept bookings from other hirers.

Please note that Bank Transfer is our preferred method of payment – cheques will only be accepted by prior agreement at the time of booking.

Please quote your date of hire as a reference, and also provide us with your bank details for the return of the deposit.

Cheques only accepted by prior agreement at the time of booking with the Bookings Manager.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept cash.
