The Bursledon Dining Club was formed when fund-raising  to prevent the closure of our much loved Village Hall. It was started by the Friends of the Hall to serve the dual functions of regularly bringing the Friends together on a social occasion and to make a small contribution to the investment from the profit of each meal. Currently the members pay an annual subscription of £10 and £13.50 each month for the dinner.

Members must be prepared to join together in small groups of 6 or 7 to plan, prepare and serve a 4 course dinner for 40 people on the first Friday of a month each year. The meal consists of an Aperitif, Starter, Main, Dessert, Cheese and Coffee. The dining club members provide their own wine.  A high standard of choice and preparation has been maintained and innovation is encouraged.

Membership is limited to a maximum of about 55 but we are always keen to take new members and if you would like to take part please contact Jackie Hughes (email: dandj.lanewell@googlemail.com)
