Since the Hall opened in 1910, many wedding receptions have been held here. If you look at ‘ABOUT THE HALL’ page, you will see a photograph taken in 1924!In 2002, we were delighted to become licensed for civil marriage ceremonies. The Two photographs on the left were taken at our very first wedding, and a very happy occasion it was too. The bride, Cheryl, arranged the flowers herself. The drapes, setting out and catering were all carried out by a Village Hall team. Thirty-five people sat down to a four-course lunch. In the evening, there was a disco and buffet for seventy five. The Hall has a very happy atmosphere, just right for family celebrations. If you are planning a wedding, we will be very happy to show you round the Hall and discuss your requirements. Although we no longer have our own catering team, we are very happy to recommend companies who in our experience have provided a very satisfactory service. We take a personal interest in our users and it is important to us that your day is a successful one. Details of room layouts and who to contact for hiring can be found in the HIRING THE HALLandCONTACTSpages.
